Roquebrune-sur-Argens, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Gassin... Which town will be voted the "best holiday destination" on M6?

Roquebrune-sur-Argens, Cogolin, Le Lavandou, Gassin, Èze, Saorge, Cagnes-sur-Mer and Gourdon. No, this is not an itinerary to follow but the list of towns in our region that will compete in the new feel-good show on M6, The Best Holiday Destination , hosted by Élodie Gossuin (former Miss France, TV presenter and mother of a large family), Christian Etchebest (no relation to Philippe Etchebest even though he is also a renowned chef) and Lauriance Gepner (travel journalist).
Every Saturday, our trio will travel to two nearby towns (Roquebrune-sur-Argens versus Cogolin and Le Lavandon versus Gassin in this first episode) to elect the "best holiday destination." To do this, at each stop, our three backpackers will be welcomed by a local ambassador to invite them to discover the must-see activities.
Four rating criteriaA chauvinistic show par excellence, we have to impress our trio. The jury will have to establish a final score out of 20 – which will decide between the two towns – based on four criteria, each being marked out of 5: the postcard via a presentation of the village and its most beautiful panorama, the flagship tourist activity to be tested and which goes to Élodie Gossuin (or Jérôme Antony who will also be there as during the confrontation between Cagnes-sur-Mer and Gourdon), the local culinary specialty judged by Christian Etchebest and, finally, the hidden treasure of the village which makes the destination a tourist gem, this last criterion is judged by Lauriane Gepner.
For its launch, this new summer show targeted three quintessential tourist regions: the Côte d'Azur, which ushers in the summer, but also the Basque coast and the Breton coast. At the end of each regional competition, the jury selects the winning cities and awards one of them the title of "best holiday destination." Will the lucky winner be located in the Var or the Alpes-Maritimes? The answer will be announced at the end of the summer.
As residents of Cagnes-sur-Mer, we fully support Renoir's estate for its entry into the competition... If it can increase the price of our property even a little, we'll take it! Mathieu Faure
The best this Saturday at 5:30 p.m., on M6.
